Disability Awareness Month aims to bring attention to the positive impact that people with disabilities make in our communities and promotes a message of inclusion and acceptance for everyone.

The DC Coalition of Disability Service Providers will be holding our annual Developmental Disability Awareness Reception to recognize March as DD Awareness Month.  This year, we are bringing back DD Awareness/Karaoke Night to align with St. Patrick’s Day.  Providers are encouraging those persons whom they support and those who enjoy singing to come out and take the stage.  This inclusive community event offers a way to showcase some of the many talents of DC residents.  This unique event will be on Tuesday, March 17 at Busboys & Poets (Brookland) located at 625 Monroe Street, NE Washington, DC from 5pm to 8pm.   B&P has a stage with a lift so everyone will have access to perform.  Food and non-alcoholic beverages included.  2020 DDAwareness Karaoke Flyer
